Thank you Amy for volunteering to be our first coach in our peer-to-peer coaching demo on the webinar. I thought you did a wonderful job of building rapport and reflecting back what was important to the client. You also took the time to have her visualize what self-care means to her. I especially liked that you picked up on her negative self-talk and pointed this out so that she could recognize that and focus instead on change-talk. You also validated the steps that the client decided to focus on. Well done, courageous coach!!

Amy has helped me enormously. Through our work, I have developed healthier eating habits and furthered my recovery from compulsive overeating. Amy is dedicated, encouraging, and non-judgmental. When I meet one of my goals, she’s as happy as I am! I look forward to continuing to work with Amy.

After a lifetime of disappointment, a dangerous weight-gain/weight-loss, I believe I have come to a point in my life where I am on the road to recovery. My health and wellness have taken the form of a wellness team that I have that are all equally important, my medical doctor, my therapist, and my integrative nutrition health coach. Each a vital part in uncovering the keys to what is unlocking my true potential for healthy change for the first time in my life.

I found Amy by chance, but I like to think it was a Divine appointment. Amy has been more than a wellness coach for me, she is a trusted confidant, someone that has walked the same road I have and truly understands the struggle and pain that comes with a disease like mine. She never judges, always listens, and is there to pick me up and encourage me to keep going.

Amy is a wealth of knowledge. After more than 50 years and accumulating more than 500 pounds of weight gain and loss through those years, after many diets, many programs, many doctors, even surgical procedures, I thought I knew it all. Amy gives me new ways to look at my life, with a fresh new perspective. She’s given me new ideas and new techniques that motivated me and encourage me.

Amy is thoughtful. One of the first things I noticed about Amy is her gift for actively engaging in a conversation, listening intently, and letting the conversation dictate the solution. Allow me to explain. Amy starts by asking a lot of questions, from my answers she began to formulate a program that was unique for my situation. Every time we meet, we talk about it, we may adjust it, we may add to it, it’s always evolving, just like my health. It’s quite amazing to experience.

I’ll leave with one thought that makes me happy. After a couple of visits with Amy I broke down and told my counselor and my medical doctor about her, what we were doing, what she was recommending, teaching me, etc. Honestly, I was keeping it to myself because I thought they would think I was “cheating” on them and wouldn’t support me seeing her. On the contrary, both are supportive. In fact, last week on a follow-up with my physician, she specifically asked, “are you keeping your appointments with Amy?” and my counselor has commented “that Amy is really good for you.” That makes me smile.

I whole-heartedly recommend Amy D’Ambrosio as your Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching Professional.
